Engagement Session at Wild Daisy Farm in Molena, Georgia

Magan and Guy’s engagement session at Wild Daisy Farm in Molena, Georgia was nothing short of incredible. From the moment we arrived, I knew this session was going to be something special. The farm itself is such a dreamy place—rolling fields, wildflowers, and that soft golden-hour glow that makes every photo feel like pure magic. But what made this session truly unforgettable was Magan and Guy themselves. They were so full of joy, constantly laughing and embracing every moment. Their love is contagious, and it was an absolute joy to document their engagement in a way that felt natural, fun, and true to them.

For those who don’t know, Wild Daisy Farm isn’t just a stunning location for engagement sessions—it’s also a wedding venue! While it’s not the venue Magan and Guy chose for their big day, it’s an amazing option for couples looking for a charming, rustic, and naturally beautiful place to say “I do.” As a Georgia wedding photographer, I’ve photographed here before, and every time, I fall more in love with it. The farm offers so many gorgeous backdrops, from wide-open fields to a quaint lavender shack, creating endless possibilities for beautiful photos. If you’re planning an engagement session or wedding and love the idea of a peaceful, romantic setting, Wild Daisy Farm is definitely a place to consider!

The Perfect Engagement Session Location in Georgia

One of my favorite things about engagement sessions is getting to explore places that are meaningful or just downright beautiful. When Magan and Guy chose Wild Daisy Farm, I knew we were going to have the best evening capturing their connection. The farm’s natural beauty creates the perfect backdrop for engagement photos, and the variety of landscapes means every session here is unique. Whether it’s golden fields, delicate flowers, or rustic barns, the scenery always adds a timeless, romantic feel to every image.

Magan and Guy made the most of every moment. We started by wandering through the tall grass, where they ran hand-in-hand, laughing and soaking in the joy of being engaged. The sun was just beginning to set, casting the most beautiful warm light over the fields, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. I always encourage couples to move around, interact naturally, and simply enjoy the moment rather than worrying about posing—and Magan and Guy did exactly that. They twirled, ran, and embraced in the fields, completely in their own world, and it made for the most stunning, heartfelt images.

Next, we stopped by the lavender shack, one of my personal favorite spots at Wild Daisy Farm. It’s such a charming little feature that adds something extra special to photos. Magan and Guy cozied up next to it, sharing sweet moments together, and you could see how much love they have for each other in every frame. Their connection is so effortless, and capturing that in a place as beautiful as this was truly something special.

Capturing the Heart pounding moments

One of the things I love most about engagement sessions is the way they capture this unique season of life—a time of excitement, anticipation, and deepening love before the wedding day. Magan and Guy’s session was the perfect example of that. They weren’t just taking photos; they were fully present, enjoying the experience, and having fun together. We ran around the fields, rolled in the wildflowers, and just embraced the beauty of the moment. The best engagement sessions are the ones where couples let go of any pressure to “perform” for the camera and instead focus on each other—and that’s exactly what these two did.

The sunset that evening was absolutely breathtaking. The sky turned soft shades of pink and gold, wrapping everything in the dreamiest light. As an Atlanta wedding photographer, I’m always chasing that golden-hour glow because it adds such a romantic, ethereal feel to engagement photos. We spent the last part of the session simply soaking in the beauty of the sunset, with Magan and Guy holding each other close, whispering and laughing as the last bits of daylight faded. It was one of those perfect, quiet moments that truly captured their love.

A Personal Connection That Made This Session Even More Special

On a personal note, this session was extra meaningful to me because I’ve known Magan since high school. Getting to reconnect with her and be part of such an important milestone in her life was incredibly special. As a Georgia wedding photographer, I love getting to know my couples and building relationships with them, but it’s an even sweeter experience when there’s already a history there. Seeing her so happy, so in love, and stepping into this new chapter with Guy was such a joy.

That’s one of my favorite parts about being a wedding and engagement photographer—it’s not just about taking pictures. It’s about capturing real, raw, authentic moments that couples can look back on years from now and instantly feel transported back to this time in their lives. It’s about documenting love stories in a way that feels true to who they are. And for Magan and Guy, that meant an engagement session full of adventure, laughter, and pure joy.

Planning Your Own Engagement Session? Here’s What to Keep in Mind!

If you’re currently engaged and thinking about booking an engagement session in Georgia, here are a few tips to make the most of your session:

  1. Choose a location that feels like you. Whether it’s a scenic farm, a city rooftop, or a cozy coffee shop, pick a place that reflects your personality as a couple.
  2. Embrace movement and fun! The best photos happen when you’re not overthinking things—run, dance, twirl, cuddle, and just enjoy the moment together.
  3. Golden hour is your best friend. That soft, golden light just before sunset creates the dreamiest, most flattering glow. If you can, schedule your session around this time.
  4. Wear something you feel amazing in. Confidence shows in photos, so pick outfits that make you feel comfortable and beautiful.
  5. Trust your photographer. If you’ve hired an experienced Atlanta wedding photographer, they’ll guide you through the session, help you feel relaxed, and make sure you get the best possible photos.
